Refund Policy

Important Notice

All dues payments made through STUDUES are generally non-refundable. Refunds are only considered under specific circumstances as outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Duplicate Payments: If the same dues item was paid twice
  • Technical Errors: System errors that resulted in incorrect charges
  • University Directive: When the university officially authorizes refunds for specific fees

2. Non-Refundable Payments

Non-refundable Cases:

  • Payments made for services already rendered or confirmed by the University of Uyo.
  • Payments made due to student misunderstanding or incorrect payment selection, unless authorized by UNIUYO MFB.

3. Refund Process

  1. Submit Request: Contact support within 7 days of payment with:
    • Transaction reference number
    • Reason for refund request
    • Supporting documentation
  2. Review Period: Requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days
  3. Approval/Denial: You will be notified of the decision
  4. Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 15 days

You must be a registered student of University of Uyo with valid student credentials to use STUDUES. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Services Provided

STUDUES provides:

  • Online payment processing for student dues

  • Secure transaction processing

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. STUDUES does not store your credit card or bank account details. Transaction fees may apply depending on the payment method.

STUDUES and UNIUYO Microfinance Bank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of STUDUES after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and other intellectual property displayed on STUDUES are the property of UNIUYO MFB or its partners. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log in to STUDUES?

Use your UNIUYO student credentials (Matric Number and password) on the login page. If you're having trouble logging in, contact your department or the ICT unit for credential assistance.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers, and USSD payments. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

How do I get my payment receipt?

Receipts are generated automatically after successful payment. You can download them from your payment history page or they will be emailed to your registered email address.

How long does payment processing take?

Most payments are processed instantly. However, bank transfers may take up to 24 hours to reflect. You'll receive a confirmation once processing is complete.

Is STUDUES secure?

Yes. We use bank-level security with 256-bit SSL encryption. All payment information is processed through PCI DSS compliant payment gateways. We never store your card details.
